Drawing a heart in the snow is harder than I thought. lol
A little bit of balderdash, some fiddle-faddle on the side, and a pinch of piffle. In other words, the random, crazy, messy thoughts and photos of an IFB, stay at home daughter.

Woke up this morning to a beautiful layer of frost all over everything!
So of course I had to make a quick photo run ... :-P
Wish I had had the time to wander around and get better ones! :-/ But of course, it had to happen on a morning that I had completely full!

We had our second real snow of the Winter! It was supposed to be a blizzard and while it did snow fairly heavily on and off all day, it was the softest, prettiest snow that didn't even stick to the roads until the sun started going down! Needless to say, I took multiple photos because it was so pretty but I chose this one because I loved how the bird was looking at me. :-)
Okay, I was actually going to add a few more for fun but my computer is being really slow. lol Oh well.

Today ... it snowed!!! :-D I know, it's January. I should expect it. But the funny thing about Nebraska is just two days ago it was 69 and friends were grilling in their shorts. :-P I love our weather. :-)
Took a few photos of the snow but I like this photo better. :-) So you don't get to see any snow. lol Sorry. :-)

Snowflakes. . . AGAIN!!!!
It just seems we can't get away from this snow. Here it is, Spring has officially begun, we're about to leave March behind us and we're getting more snow. I do have to say though that they were big, fat, beautiful flakes. So I decided I was going to take advantage of the opportunity (I had to make it good somehow!) and take some shots in the snow. Since all of the people in my family are adults (no fun to take photographs of :-P) I borrowed a couple of my piano students when they came for their lessons. :-) Since they had to get home I only took a couple of each but they still turned out better than if it had been of one of us ugly boring adults! :-P
(all SOOC)
Love her eyes in this one.
Had to try some B&W too.
Definitely made the snow worth it. Already thinking of ways to make them better next time. Can't wait to try my hand at it again.

It's Snowing!!!
For the second time this Winter. Well, we have had a dusting or two as well but they do not count next to these "dumpings" we have had! I don't mind the snow...so long as I do not have to go out in it! It is so pretty! And this time it is the big, fat, fluffy snow flakes! Awesome!!!
I didn't venture out past my porch. lol Therefore I did not get anything really amazing. But it still shows how much snow is coming down!
The house across the street...
and a couple "artistic" shots..if you want to call them that. :-P
*sigh* I can not believe it has already been a year since I last took some Winter shots. One year ago I went out with a dear friend who also loves photography and we got some pretty neat Winter shots. Snow, ice, frost. It was pretty. It has also been one year today since I saw said friend because she up and moved away. So thankful for cell phones and Facebook! :-)

Spring is coming!
Spring is nearly here and I am soooo ready! And, although it actually rained yesterday (Yay!!!), we also very recently had some MORE snow. All the while it was snowing you could hear the birds singing in the trees. Such a beautiful, promising, sweet noise. Music to my ears. Then I realized one of the birds I was hearing was a cardinal. I looked around and sure enough, there he was atop my neighbors tree singing his song. :-)

My first photo walk!
I think that's what my friend called it....
Yes, for the first time I went gallivanting around town for the sole purpose of taking pictures of the beautifully frosted trees. It was so much fun and I really feel like I got some good ones too! I went along with a friend of mine and it was so interesting, once we got back to her house, to see the different things we noticed. One would see this and capture it beautifully while the other would notice something completely different and capture it just as beautifully.
Well, allotted computer time is quickly coming to an end so I guess I won't be able to go on and on about how much fun I had. But! I will leave you with just a few of the pictures I got that day, though some of my favorites aren't even here! *sigh* Oh well. Next time.
And due to the fact that I'm supposed to be getting off NOW the pictures will remain at the top of my post. *ugh*!
