Again, kind of a cheater post...didn't actually take this photo today but finished up the job and delievered the CD. :-)

The new landscaping in our front yard. :-)

Well, we actually did the rock/extended driveway part last year but not very thoroughly so it had to be redone this year and my brother (who did all of it this year) also bought these neat lights!

The frustrating part? This was the only photo of the ones I took that wasn't blurry! It's really  hard to take night photos! I'm just not that good at standing perfectly still. lol

The orchid that's in our nursery at church is blooming! It's been in there a year and we didn't even know if it would do anything but in the last couple of weeks it's budded and bloomed!

So pretty!!!

Took a long walk today to help ward off an Eeyore mood and saw this neat little tree.

We actually pass it a lot because it's near my house but I don't usually have the opportunity to stop and take a photo of it. lol Since I was walking though I thought that I would. :-)

I had a lot of fun snapping photos that day. The fog was just awesome.

And I really should give you a little update on life right now but ... I'm off to pick up some pizza and load the dishwasher and edit some pictures and go to a friends house... lol Maybe next time! :-)

Today was one of those Saturdays when you hit the floor running. Thankful that I got woken up by the doorbell. ;-) Biggest thing on the agenda today was a baby shower. Those are always fun! Another lady and I are the ones who plan the showers for our church so we get to have all the fun! ;-)

Of course, "Baby Shower" also stands for yummy sweets! :-) Get a load of those beautiful cupcakes! And they were as yummy as they were beautiful! :-) Thanks, Samantha!

Woke up this morning to an amazing fog! Thankfully, my workout buddy was running a little late so I was able to run to a near by park and snap some photos of it over the lake.

Today the clouds were picture perfect! Of course by the time I got home and then by the time I remembered to take my camera outside to snap a photo they didn't look as good. Still pretty, but not as "perfect". Oh well.

This last week has been pretty insane. I missed two more days of blogging. Got me thinking, I can't imagine how it'll be once Summer hits! lol Guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. :-)

Was desperate for something sweet so I tried this recipe for a "microwave cake". It was actually pretty good! Especially when I topped it with ice cream! ;-)

It actually made a good sized cake. I only ate about half of it. This is what was left of it. lol

With the amazing Spring like weather we have been having (and maybe because I'm on a "diet"...lol) I have been craving me some Summer squash! Finally bought one and fried it up today. So delicious!!!!

And today was her Bridal Shower. lol She was in town for the week so it was all squeezed in to a short time. And since I was so tired from yesterday, these were the only photos I took today! lol

Bachelorrette party tonight!!! 

Was so much fun! Most of us girls grew up together and don't do much together now that we're all "grown up". lol So, needless to say, we had a blast.

Very random, just snapped a picture, 365 post. :-S

Working on making better food choices which is why I had pizza for supper. lol But! It was homemade and made on a pita. So not too bad actually. ;-)

I love rain. It is so cleansing. And it makes me smile. :-)

Today we had a lovely, rainy day and at one point, when I was having a rough moment and had stepped outside for some fresh air, the rain really helped as I was praying and trying to collect myself. So it seemed apropos that my blog be on rain today.

Today really was a spectacular day. Had my Bible/God time this morning and came across some neat stuff. Had lunch with some out of town friends of which the only bad part was that we didn't have longer to visit. :-) Spent some girl time with my good friend, which included a cherry limeade. :-) Then we went on a walk in the lovely evening air. (Oh, by the way. It was a luscious 65 most of the afternoon and into the evening.) Then yet still got a little skating time in. Now, as my eyes droop in sleep, I'm about to lay down on my silky pillow with a smile on my face. I love Saturdays like this. :-)

A new vitamin that I'm trying.

Now before you start "preaching" at me, I am not depending on this to be the thing that makes me lose weight. It's only a little help on the side as I create a new eating/active lifestyle with better food choices and more exercising. :-) Just started taking it today. We'll see if it helps or not.

You can always tell around here when the weather is warming and Spring is starting to show it's face because suddenly, half of the people in the house seem to forget how to shut the screen door. lol 

The last three days have been positively luscious! The temperature currently sits at 75 degrees and I couldn't be happier. :-) And that's the way it's been since Sunday! I feel like I've been rejuvenated! lol 

Can I say just one more time that I'm loving, basking, drinking in this weather???? :-)
